Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and found her passion of sprinting while in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her first attempt, Felix placed 2nd in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to an official contract with Adidas. In 2004, she began her studies at an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. She became the youngest world winner in the 200m at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top three in all of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
