Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is one of the well-known British stage and film actress that gained fame when she appeared in"Doctor Who" (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu's role in the show as Tish Jones was extremely popular. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Gugu displayed a vibrant charismatic personality that was loved by all who saw her. Gugu could have had an extremely successful career as an actor if she didn't quit! The actress also appeared on other British stage and television productions. She has received critical acclaim for her performance in British period dramas such as 'Belle' (2013) and Beyond the Lights' (2014). Alongside her role in American films like Tom Hankscomedy "Larry Crowne" and 'Larry Crowne', she has also played on TV shows like "Undercover" as well as Touch'. Gugu mbatha-Raw portrayed the role of Jessica Swale in her"Nell Gwynn," a play which is a character who doubles as an actress and love of the king of England and Scotland. The actress received lots of praise from critics that were very pleased with her acting skills, and she went on to be nominated for the highly coveted "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for Best Actress' award. Gugu's work in drama was recognized by Queen Elizabeth in her appointment as an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on 25 February 1975. She was the youngest of six children in her family. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and housewife. Her mother was an German immigrants who arrived in her home in United States in 1958. In 1989 Handler was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away 10 years later. Her father was Jewish as was her mother, and she educated in Reform Judaism. Handler resided in a beautiful area with a great family. Handler moved into Los Angeles when she was 19, in order to pursue a career in acting. Handler was an actor in order to support her family. Handler began to do stand-up comedian full-time when she turned 21. She realized she is gifted at storytelling. Handler made her debut on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly, a reality show with a hidden-camera/practical comedy. From 2002 to 2005, the series aired. Handler was later employed in numerous other shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler started her career as a journalist for The Tonight Show. Handler was given her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The Chelsea Handler Show lasted two years. Handler then followed up with performing on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour, within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up show. In 2010, it was announced that the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were made public. The only woman to ever host VMAs after Roseanne Bar.
